Human Resources Specialist

Responsibilities
Apply expert knowledge of labor laws, company policies to ensure compliance and equitable application
Act as a neutral partner to investigate, monitor, and resolve individual and plant-wide employee relations issues
Keep a consistent presence on the production floor to identify concerns and support a positive work environment
Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and systems
Support management in effective labor–management relations and professional engagement with employees
Develop and support plant/Business Center communications and provide people-related consulting to leadership
Analyze workforce and business data and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Evaluate HR and employee relations programs through audits and assessments to measure effectiveness and engagement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
At least 3 years of broad HR experience across multiple disciplines
Strong knowledge of core HR functions, policies, and organizational structure
Experience with compensation, performance management, employee relations, and talent processes
Understanding of labor laws, company benefits, and plant-level HR systems, including non-union environments
Preferred
Advanced education or HR certification
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Solid research, analytical, and organizational abilities with effective time management
A self-motivated professional who maintains strict confidentiality
Knowledge of non-union work environments
