Executive Director (Contract)
NUCA of Oklahoma is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to help lead their contractor association into its next phase of growth and impact. The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, drive organizational initiatives, and advocate for the interests of contractors and the industry.

Responsibilities
Regularly monitors and responds to email and traditional correspondence on behalf of the Chapter, distributing messages to appropriate party (i.e. President, committee chairs, etc.) as necessary
Fields/responds to all phone communications for the organization
Develops, Maintains and updates the Chapter’s digital management and communication platforms including database, website, social media platforms, Internet presence and other electronic communications vehicles
Creates and distributes Chapter communications and invitations for Chapter events
Develops and distributes marketing materials that promote NUCA of Oklahoma membership, events, programs and activities
Assist in developing and promoting the NUCA of Oklahoma & NUCA brands
Identifies Oklahoma utility contractors & excavators, specialty contractors, supplier companies and government agencies as prospects for membership recruitment
Uses outreach calls, in-person meetings, electronic communications and the NUCA/NUCA of Oklahoma membership value proposition to build relationships with, and successfully recruit prospect companies to join NUCA and the NUCA of Oklahoma Chapter
Cultivates strong relationships with new and continuing member companies and company representatives to understand their needs and priorities and promote an exceptional membership experience
Engages member company representatives with NUCA and NUCA of Oklahoma programs and events to help them draw maximum value from their membership investment and ensure long-term member satisfaction and membership renewals
Promotes participation in NUCA of Oklahoma events and training programs
Coordinates with Chapter Board of Directors and committees to develop and sell annual and chapter event specific sponsorship opportunities
Manages implementation and recognition of sponsorships sold
Identifies and pursues opportunities to diversify chapter revenue streams such as: partnerships, print publications or other advertising funded resources
In coordination with Chapter volunteer leadership, the Executive Director oversees the development and delivery of high-quality programs and events to grow revenue, enhance membership value, and expand the influence and profile of the Chapter. (Approx. 8-10 annually) Examples may include: general membership meetings, guest speaker programs, project previews events, forums or panel programs, safety and/or leadership training programs, fundraisers, sports tournaments, or other social/networking events
Chapter staff liaison to NUCA’s governing bodies and officials including: NUCA of Oklahoma Board of Directors and Committees
Coordinates and participates in Chapter Board and Committee meetings and attends NUCA National conference calls, webcasts, and web conferences, as well as face-to-face meetings, as appropriate and subject to budget
Maintains relationships with key NUCA National staff to coordinate Chapter’s participation in NUCA partnership programs, events, campaigns, initiatives, and other activities of common interest
Participates as a member of the NUCA Executive Directors Council to facilitate regular reporting, dialogue, idea sharing and collaboration with NUCA National organization and other NUCA state/regional Chapters
Represents Chapter at trade shows and on industry initiatives (e.g. workforce development)
Liaisons with Oklahoma utilities, regulatory bodies and elected representative offices on behalf of the Chapter, scheduling constituent meetings with legislators when/as appropriate
Collaborates with other industry organizations and coalitions to advance common goals and initiatives
Monitor and ensure Chapter compliance with its bylaws, policies, agreements, and government codes and regulations, including record-keeping and public disclosure requirements, for business operations purposes
Office operations, processing mailings, word processing, data entry, recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks
Develop and manage the chapter budget in conjunction with the Chapter Treasurer and Board of Directors, ensuring prudent financial planning and resource allocation
Manages membership renewal invoicing in coordination with NUCA National and the dues payment process for new and renewing members
Process payments and registrations for meetings, sponsorship, and other chapter activities
Manages chapter financial records, filing, and reporting as directed by the Chapter Board of Directors and/or Treasurer
Qualification
Required
Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within a nonprofit organization, trade association, or related industry
Deep understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of relevant regulation, market dynamics, and emerging trends
Demonstrated success in organizational development, strategic and financial management
Strong communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders and represent the association's and industry's interests
Experience working with Boards of Directors, committees, and volunteers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Quick Books and strong familiarity with association management and design software/tools
Commitment to the association's mission, values, and goals
