Responsibilities
Formulation Support: Batch, modify bases, screen ingredients, and make minor formulation changes under the supervision of a Scientist. Update formulas in the database accordingly
Data Generation: Produce data for customer demo sheets and prepare sample shipments
Technical Analysis: Perform analysis on samples and accurately record results in project files
Math Proficiency: Conduct basic math conversions as needed
Lab Maintenance: Ensure lab safety, organization, and cleanliness. Engage in practices to prevent foodborne illness or injury and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Inventory Management: Monitor and order ingredient stock for sampling, store products correctly to maintain integrity, and ensure an organized workspace
Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks and assignments as required. PPE will be required, boots, hardhats due to certain environments in the plant
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a four-year degree in Food Science with an Animal Science or Pet Food focus with an expected graduation between December 2026 and Summer 2028
Must have overall 2.8 GPA
Interns must have their own transportation to and from work
Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations
Successful completion of a background check is required
Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2026
