Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the data platform's availability, security, recovery, and performance
Implement database changes as part of the change management process
Create monitoring frameworks and runbooks for effective data platform management
Lead crucial projects related to data platform initiatives
Manage the data platform roadmap and establish a clear communication strategy
Enhance existing processes and standards for data architecture and governance
Proactively collaborate across teams to identify risks and address project blockers

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in Data Platform Engineering or DBA roles
2+ years in a technical leadership role

Experience with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) and big data platforms
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
Expertise in data architecture for structured and unstructured data
