The role involves implementing the Quality Management System, leading audits, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with IATF 16949, ISO9001 and PPG standards

Ensure compliance with PPG and customer requirements applicable to manufacturing and inspection

Lead internal and external audits, support customer and regulatory audits, and ensure closure of corrective actions

Oversee nonconformance investigations and RCCA implementation

Collaborate with site leadership to support daily production and ensure quality compliance

Provide technical quality support for manufacturing processes, new product introductions, and engineering changes

Promote local continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce defects and scrap

Maintain quality documentation, records, and traceability for all site processes

Monitor quality KPIs and lead data-driven problem solving and performance improvement

Support and develop site quality technicians, ensuring training, and engagement

Required

Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience

5 or more years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing environment; Chemical or Automotive manufacturing experience preferred

Strong collaboration skills to engage with all levels of site personnel

Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate technical and complex issues to diverse audiences, ensuring understanding across all organizational levels

Continuous improvement and solution-oriented mindset
