Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the industrial engineering/methods team while setting performance expectations and KPIs
Lead process industrialization for new products and oversee manufacturing ramp-up activities
Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, standardized work instructions, time studies, and process documentation
Design and optimize plant layouts, material flow, workstation ergonomics, and production processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial methods, or process improvement, preferably in automotive or transportation manufacturing
Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies
Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects
Familiarity with Lean principles, KPI-driven decision-making, and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES)
Ability to travel approximately 25%, including potential overnight trips to Canada

Preferred

Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
