Responsibilities

Assist in the performance of structural analysis and design for projects
Work closely with the Structural Lead, Project Managers, Professional Engineers, and Designers across different disciplines
Perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design is developed
Communicate structural requirements on paper and in the model with Designers
Check own work and seek guidance from peers and seniors when questions arise

Required

Currently seeking a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, with a clear emphasis on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Excellent communication (both written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Previous relevant internship experience in structural engineering
This position is considered project site/hybrid and may require you to work in the local office, at a project site, or from your home (within approximately 50 miles of site)

Preferred

Currently enrolled in a MS degree program in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
Previous experience analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
Ability to work in the US without need for sponsorship
