Responsibilities

Lead all lending functions and drive growth of a strong, diverse, and profitable loan portfolio
Develop and execute lending strategies that support organizational goals and respond to market opportunities
Oversee credit quality, underwriting, and risk management for new and renewed credit requests
Assess financial and economic data to make sound credit decisions and manage risk exposure
Build, develop, and mentor lending teams while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts across South Florida
Negotiate loan terms that balance client needs and profitability
Monitor portfolio performance and ensure accurate reporting
Ensure full compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and audit standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; Master's preferred
8–10+ years of progressive commercial lending experience with senior leadership responsibility
Proven experience managing C&I, CRE, and Consumer portfolios
Strong analytical skills and credit decision-making expertise
Demonstrated ability to drive lending strategy and achieve portfolio growth
Experience with complex loan structures and risk management
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building abilities
Strong knowledge of South Florida banking markets, including Miami-Dade and Broward
