Responsibilities
Collect, preserve, and prepare samples for analysis
Prepare standard solutions and reagents for use in the laboratory
Operate a variety of laboratory equipment; perform analytical
Record equipment temperatures, maintain records and logs of sampling and data
Perform maintenance, cleaning and calibration of laboratory equipment
Assist with special projects as required
Assist with customer sample receiving and inquiries as needed
Participate in laboratory safety meetings and trainings
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in chemistry, biology or a science related field is desired
One year of experience in the collection and analysis of water and/or wastewater samples
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work required may be substituted
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid CPR certificate
