Responsibilities

Record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger

Maintain and reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card transactions

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections

Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards

Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee expense records

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review

Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial reporting

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information

Qualification

Required

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role handling financial records

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
