College Intern - Legal Reception Support

Responsibilities
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls with professionalism and care
Greet and assist clients and visitors at the reception area
Provide support in organizing incoming mail and documents
Assist with scanning, copying, and uploading client records and legal files
Help maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
Support scheduling and confirmation of appointments as needed
Learn and support basic office tech (printers, scanners, call-forwarding, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Minimum high school diploma, currently earning bachelor's or associate degree
Must be comfortable answering phones continuously throughout the workday
This will be an on-site role in our Boston office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, and appointment scheduling and call forwarding systems
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
Strong attention to detail and willingness to help wherever needed
Eager to learn, take initiative, and be a team player
Can commit a minimum of 20 hours to working in-person between the hours of 8:30a-5p M-F, with preference for afternoon availability
Preferred
Prior experience as a legal or other receptionist will be advantageous
Familiarity with legal terms, legal documents, and filing preferred but not required
Prior office or customer service experience is a bonus, but not required
