Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack AWS Cloud solutions including modern web applications, scalable REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and event-driven applications using Node.js and serverless technologies
Create technical documentation such as flow diagrams and design specifications
Develop infrastructure-as-code (CDK) and automate CI/CD pipelines to continuously deliver new features
Implement observability solutions for logging, monitoring, and analyzing system health and user activity
Identify opportunities to improve application functionality and performance, gather feedback from customers, and mitigate technical risks
Use application development tools and methodologies across multiple platforms
Collaborate with the team to deliver code following best practices and design patterns, including comprehensive unit testing and code reviews
Provide support to engineering leaders to ensure clear and accurate interfaces and integrations
Work with product owners and lead engineers to architect solutions and establish related practices, standards, and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
3-5 years of strong full stack development experience with React, Typescript, and Node.js
1-2 years of hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch
Proactive with strong ownership and responsibility
Ability to analyze, plan, design, and own complex or vaguely defined issues independently
Collaborative attitude with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical peers
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
Preferred
Experience with Java
Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and/or CloudFormation
Automation experience using Playwright
