Responsibilities

Analyze data using Python to support business decision-making

Perform statistical analyses to assess data completeness and validity

Assist engineering teams with root cause analysis investigations

Apply machine learning algorithms to numerical and categorical datasets

Mentor and provide modeling guidance to other data analysts

Automate data analyses and standardize formatting procedures

Learn the fundamentals of electrical and mechanical systems

Develop and refine the analytics support model to improve efficiency and insights

Qualification

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Preferred

Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Analytics

Proficiency in Python programming

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) or distributed computing frameworks (Spark)

Experience using Git or other version control systems

Understanding of the software development lifecycle, from concept through delivery

Experience using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
