Responsibilities
Manage revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606
Review non-standard contracts to ensure accurate and compliant revenue structuring
Oversee monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and forecasting
Research guidance and draft technical accounting memos documenting revenue conclusions
Identify and implement scalable processes to enhance revenue workflows and reporting frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Sales Ops, Legal) to evaluate operational impacts and risks
Support internal and external audits to ensure revenue controls meet SOX requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license
7+ years of progressive experience in revenue recognition within SaaS or technology companies
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
Expertise in quote-to-cash processes and strong communication skills
Preferred
Big Four public accounting experience preferred
