Event Sales Manager

Starwood Hotels is a luxury hotel brand management company that focuses on creating beautiful experiences for their guests. They are seeking an Event Sales Manager who will lead the Catering & Events Teams, develop creative strategies to maximize profit, and support financial and marketing objectives for various gatherings at the hotel.

Collaborating on each new project to inspire and assist in executing events that leave our guests feeling in awe of their surroundings
Developing creative ways to maximize profit and achieving set revenue goals
Supporting the financial, business and marketing objectives for meetings, parties and other gatherings at the hotel

Required

Passionate about hospitality and food & beverage with a minimum of 4 years of similar work experience
An expert in Catering & Events, a strong leader, natural salesperson and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance
Excels at communication, both verbal and written
Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Preferred

A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus
