COMPUTER SCIENTIST
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking a Computer Scientist to support the mission of the US Cyber Command. The role involves project management, conducting analytical studies, and developing strategies for advancing test and evaluation technologies.

Responsibilities
Serves as a project management engineer performing technical consultation and/or program coordinator-reviewer services for the organization and manages major elements of the organization’s assigned program segment(s)
Formulates, guides, or directs analytical studies to develop strategies for achieving approved long-range objectives in advancing the state-of-the-art in test and evaluation technologies, methodologies, and facilities
Develops and correlates research objectives; and originates new concepts, methods, and techniques for research planning, program guidance, program evaluation, technological forecasting, and resource allocation
Conducts system tests and evaluations and coordinates technical installation planning by aligning future programs with projected requirements, available resources, and scientific discoveries
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment
This position requires a SECRET clearance
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science
At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus
Experience conducting technology project management aspects in project planning, acquisition processes, and software and systems development life cycles
Experience with software or systems engineering aspect such as systems documentation, configuration management, standards, system integration, security architecture, cost analysis, data administration, systems integration, and testing
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume
All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level
