Desktop Support Technician

Responsibilities

Provide desk-side and remote technical support for end users (Windows & Mac)
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues
Deploy new PCs and Macs, including imaging and lifecycle management
Support OS, software, and hardware refreshes and upgrades (Windows 10, O365, proprietary applications)
Perform Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes (IMACs)
Track and maintain accurate asset and inventory documentation
Ensure proper documentation for internal chargeback and audit purposes
Support Microsoft Teams, AV systems, and meeting room technology
Provide white-glove support to executive and VIP users
Assist with remote support for users across multiple locations
Use IT Service Desk tools to manage tickets and meet SLA and KPI targets
Educate end users on new equipment and software
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

2–3 years of Desktop Support experience in an enterprise environment
CompTIA A+ certification (REQUIRED)
Strong troubleshooting skills for: Windows 7/8/10
macOS
iOS/mobile devices
Experience with O365 / Microsoft Office
Experience with PC/Mac deployments (Autopilot or MDT preferred)
Hands-on asset management and inventory tracking experience
Familiarity with BitLocker or encryption tools
Experience using ITIL-based Service Desk tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills, including executive-level support
Ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills
Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
Background check required
5-panel drug screening required
Must be comfortable working onsite, full-time
Must be able to start immediately

Preferred

Microsoft Technical certifications
Dell or Dell EMC hardware support experience
Experience supporting AV systems and conference room technology
Bilingual (nice to have, not required)
