Lead Installer - Car Wash

mindzUnite is a growing car wash company with locations across the West Coast. The Lead Installer will be responsible for installing new car wash equipment, managing vendors, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Install car wash systems and components (tunnels, controls, MCC panels, chemical delivery systems, LPR cameras, pay stations, etc.)
Set up plumbing, electrical, pneumatics, and network connections according to manufacturer specifications (e.g., Sonny’s equipment)
Coordinate with contractors, electricians, and other vendors during new build or remodel projects
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance: conveyor inspections, pump stand servicing, oil changes (e.g., Wanner H25), motor/gearbox inspections, chain lubrication, chemical levels, and sensor alignment
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues on wash equipment
Maintain MCC panels, relays, VFDs, proximity switches, safety sensors, anti-collision devices, doors, blowers, and chemical pumps
Replace worn parts: bearings, nozzles, rollers, belts, hoses, valves, etc
Respond to emergency service calls to minimize downtime
Keep detailed service records, maintenance logs, and parts usage reports
Ensure all work complies with electrical, safety, and environmental standards

Required

3+ years of experience installing car wash equipment
Experience with Sonny's, AVW, DRB, Motor City, or NCS systems
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally
Ability to work independently and safely
