Parts Data Management Analyst I - Product Engineering Support

Responsibilities

Support others by carrying out simple product development or engineering tasks, such as gathering data or preparing documents. Involves following established procedures
Perform a broad range of tests requiring detailed assessment, measurement, and judgment
Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries
Extract relevant data from information provided by others, and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats
Draft and maintain basic technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and create backup files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur
Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports, and similar documents following detailed instruction. This is likely to involve using the full range of functions within standard office software
Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media
Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed
Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making
Works at an intermediate level to understand business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organizational structure, cultures, capabilities, and processes to document the current state of processes and the business. Typically works with guidance
Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to acquire, organize, protect and process data to fulfill business objectives
Works at an intermediate level to envision and document the future state of processes and products by identifying the solution scope, potential value of the future state, and the changes to the process, products, organization infrastructure, capabilities, and technology necessary to achieve the desired future state.
