Executive Director (State Division Administrator 17)
NEOGOV is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Executive Director of the Michigan Education Trust (MET). The role involves overseeing the administration of the MET program, ensuring financial integrity, legal compliance, and operational standards, while also managing the Michigan Education Saving Program (MESP) and the Fostering Futures Scholarship Trust Fund (FFS).

Responsibilities
Overall administration of the Michigan Education Trust program including personnel services, financial integrity, actuarial soundness evaluation, legal compliance, operational standards, recordkeeping, marketing, and determining issues for Board of Directors review/action
Serve as the Program Manager for the Michigan Education Saving Program and MI 529 Advisor Plan
Ensure compliance with the contract between the vendor and the Department of Treasury and approve program disclosure materials, matching grant applications, marketing concepts and materials
Provide coordination and oversight of the Fostering Futures Scholarship Trust Fund
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
Two years of experience as a professional manager or program/staff specialist, or equivalent experience
A position is considered professional if the job requires a bachelor's degree. Qualifying professional experience is counted post bachelor's degree
Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and three years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements

Work must be performed in the state of Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position prior to being appointed to the position
The selected candidate must have a secure, safe and appropriate designated workspace that allows privacy and prevents distractions to perform the duties of this position
The selected candidate must have secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
