Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain integrated systems
Provide input to Industrial Plant Maintenance and production personnel as to equipment procurement and/or modifications to existing equipment
Serve as a senior team member with production and other Facilities Management trades to troubleshoot and differentiate between mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems
Serve as an electronic expert in the installation, maintenance, and operation of new equipment
Diagnose electrical control circuits on motor starters to determine operational working conditions
Interpret operating procedures to maintain and repair fixed and semi-fixed machinery
Adapt troubleshooting and repair techniques to newly installed or modified systems, incorporating unusual circuitry with limited or no technical information
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
U.S. citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance
Thorough experience and training in electronic industrial controls
Ability to perform duties without more than normal supervision
Experience in diagnosing and isolating system failures
Experience in performing planned preventive maintenance and repairs to electronically controlled systems
Experience advising engineering and facilities personnel on system upgrades and modifications
Experience developing techniques for system malfunctions and repairs
Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment
