Service Manager

Jireh Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Car Service Manager to lead their automotive service department. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity
Lead and motivate service technicians and mechanics to deliver high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance services
Oversee vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across various systems such as transmissions, brakes, suspensions, alignments, oil changes, tire services, and diesel engine repairs
Ensure adherence to safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and quality control procedures
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through upselling additional services such as auto body repairs or air brake systems
Maintain excellent customer relations by providing transparent communication regarding vehicle repairs, estimates, and service writing
Handle cash transactions accurately while managing auto estimating tools to prepare detailed repair orders
Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies essential for automotive repair tasks
Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on new automotive technologies and diagnostic techniques
Collaborate with sales teams to promote vehicle sales initiatives and enhance overall dealership performance

Required

Proven dealership experience with comprehensive auto service management skills
Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, shocks & struts, brake repair, alignment, suspension work, oil changes, tire services, diesel engine repair, and auto body repair
Strong background in mechanic work with hands-on experience as a service technician or in automotive repair roles
Proficiency in auto estimating software and service writing processes
Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem resolution
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with familiarity with automotive parts inventory management
New Car Service Manager: 2 years (Required)

Preferred

Experience in auto sales or vehicle dealership environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of specialized systems such as air brake systems or advanced diagnostics is an advantage
