Responsibilities
Design, build, and execute data migrations between systems, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
Develop and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and internal data management tools
Analyze source and target schemas and model data for scalability and performance
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across environments
Participate in the full software lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment
Contribute to automation, testing strategies, and continuous delivery practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of experience delivering production-grade data or software solutions
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
Experience building production scripts or services for data movement and validation
Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js / Express
Hands-on production experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Comfortable writing complex queries, modeling schemas, and resolving data quality issues during migrations
Experience using Git/GitHub or similar version control systems
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and continuous delivery concepts
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, security best practices, performance tuning, and testing
Preferred
Experience with modern data platforms; Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric preferred
Strong experience with SQL Server and MongoDB preferred
Familiarity with automated pipeline deployment and schema promotion to production
Interest in data quality, test strategy, and test automation
