Wastewater Project Manager

They are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Wastewater to oversee and coordinate waste and water treatment construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and finalize waste and water treatment construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
Coordinate the efforts of team members, subcontractors, and consultants to deliver projects according to plan
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes as necessary
Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Track project milestones and deliverables
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in waste and water treatment
Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and closeout
Strong understanding of waste and water treatment processes, means and methods, and industry standards
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred
PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus
