Account Executive
Fortis Health is seeking an Account Executive to manage and grow their Northeast Indianapolis territory. The role focuses on building strong referral relationships, educating the community about services, and driving census growth in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
Implement targeted sales and marketing plans to meet admission goals
Use CRM tools (e.g., Trella Health’s Marketscape) to track activity, analyze referral patterns, and identify high-potential accounts
Expand referral networks through initiative-taking outreach to hospitals, SNFs, physicians, and community partners
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community stakeholders
Function as a liaison between referral sources and clinical teams to ensure smooth transitions and high satisfaction
Represent Select Home Health & Hospice at community events, professional associations, and networking opportunities
Maintain accurate records of accounts, referral trends, and sales activity in CRM
Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, Anti-Kickback, and Stark Law
Collaborate with compliance and leadership teams to uphold ethical practices
Complete administrative duties, including timely reporting of progress and barriers to growth
Participate in short- and long-range planning for agency growth initiatives
Partner with managers and HR to ensure alignment on operational needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum 2 years of sales experience; home health or hospice experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Trella Health's Marketscape) is highly desirable
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable personal transportation, and ability to travel within the assigned territory
Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
Regular use of phone, computer, and presentation tools
