Retail Marketing Manager

Simply Protein for Pets (SPFP) is a leading provider of high-protein, natural pet nutrition solutions. The Retail Marketing Manager will oversee trade marketing and in-store merchandising programs, ensuring brand clarity and competitive edge across retail channels.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Build and manage annual trade calendars across Costco, Walmart, Tractor Supply, and other accounts
Coordinate promotional mechanics including MVMs, TPRs, EDLP vs promo strategy, and account-specific allowances
Partner with Finance on promo accruals, ROI analysis, and post-promo evaluations
Maintain SKU, pricing, and pack architecture consistency across retailers
Lead creation of retailer decks, sell sheets, PDP copy, and competitive/category insights
Prepare for line reviews, new item pitches, and SKU resets with account-specific storytelling
Maintain centralized library of collateral for internal Sales and brokers
Coordinate in-store displays including PDQs, trays, and Master Display Modules
Partner with Creative on POS materials, signage, shopper messaging, and claims
Align with Operations on quantities, logistics, allocations, and timelines
Coordinate with Ecommerce to harmonize retail + digital shelf execution
Support new SKU launches with retail-specific GTM plans
Track retailer expectations, feedback, and satisfaction signals

Required

3–5 years experience in Trade, Shopper, or Retail Marketing (CPG preferred)
Experience supporting large retail accounts (Costco, Walmart, Tractor Supply, BJ's a plus)
Familiarity with trade spend mechanics and retail promo workflows
Comfortable with category insights, pricing, and performance data
Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Ops, Finance, and Creative
Pet category or premium/natural food CPG experience
Excellent communication skills and professional polish
Rigorous attention to detail and timeline discipline
Strong analytical instincts; comfortable pulling insights from imperfect data
Bias for action and operational problem-solving
Passion for pets, wellness, and improving health outcomes through nutrition
