They are seeking a professional Operations Analyst to join their Operations team, where the role involves utilizing a data-driven approach to improve operations and solve problems across various functions.

Responsibilities

Actively manage labor forecasting, daily labor deployment, utilization tracking, and incentive programs in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Spend time on the warehouse floor validating labor standards, observing workflows, and identifying productivity improvement opportunities

Support facility capacity planning and budgeting through direct operational data collection and analysis

Perform hands-on root cause analysis of quality, service, and productivity issues and drive corrective actions through implementation

Design, test, and adjust facility layouts and product slotting based on real-world picking, packing, and replenishment constraints

Build and maintain department-level dashboards and intraday reporting used by supervisors and managers to run the business

Partner directly with operations leaders to improve order consolidation methods and reduce touches, travel, and freight cost

Own inventory data integrity by validating containerization, location setup, and replenishment logic through physical audits and system reviews

Evaluate warehouse automation and material handling solutions by piloting, testing, and supporting deployment on the floor

Required

Strong working experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Alteryx, applied directly to operational problem-solving

Experience creating practical, operator-friendly dashboards using Tableau or Power BI

Proven understanding of warehouse and distribution center operations, including picking, packing, replenishment, and inventory control

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and regularly engaging with frontline teams and leadership

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence through collaboration and credibility on the floor

Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable direction

Self-directed and resilient, with the ability to push through operational constraints and drive execution

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science) preferred, or equivalent hands-on operational experience
