Responsibilities

Oversees the daily workflow of the department

Ensure work order is present with 1st piece approval and check line prior to packing

Understanding of all work order instructions on how to pack and or sub assemble components prior to packing the job

Ensure proper components and packaging is placed on the line when restocking the line during production

Understanding of label placement when applicable during packing process

Perform 20-minute line checks per our guidelines and sign off that these were performed

Making Sure to keep the immediate work area neat, orderly, and safe for line workers

Responsible for line clearance upon completion of a job and do any necessary replenishment to be sent to fulfillment and ensure all final production numbers are met per the work order

Responsible for the correct packing and labeling of in-process and finished product

Make sure all employees are following GMPs when on the line working

Setting goals for the employees per the finishing schedule to make sure expectations are set daily

Ensure work is being done properly or asks questions if unsure

Make sure all paperwork and FTE are filled out correctly and proper tracking is left on the line at the conclusion of the shift

Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, case making, labeling operations and sorting in order to assist the line to achieve the daily goals

Performs other related duties as assigned
