HR/Recruiting Coordinator (Temp Position)
Expert Computer Solutions (ECS) is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider based in West Houston. They are seeking an HR Coordinator to support recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, assist with onboarding, and maintain employee records.

Responsibilities
Assist with full-cycle recruiting tasks, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
Coordinate communication with candidates and ensure a professional and timely hiring experience
Support hiring documentation, recruiting reports, and applicant tracking accuracy
Assist with researching, implementing, and maintaining an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to help streamline and automate the recruitment process, including supporting data entry and system setup
Assist with new-hire onboarding and orientation activities
Prepare onboarding documents and ensure completion of required paperwork
Distribute Building/Office ID cards to new hires
Support offboarding workflows, including exit checklists and required documentation
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure timely HRIS data entry
Assist the HR Manager with day-to-day HR tasks, including employee relations support as needed
Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and supervisors
Prepare HR communications, updates, and announcements
Maintain general administrative systems, filing, and documentation
Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
Assist with payroll support tasks by ensuring accurate employee information and documentation
Help ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations
Maintain personnel files and compliance-related documentation
Assist with HR reporting, audits, and metrics as assigned
Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
Support employee recognition efforts and HR-related events
Assign and track employee trainings and follow up as needed
Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and special initiatives
Perform ad hoc duties as requested by the HR Manager or COO; support office with administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in recruitment or talent acquisition
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Professionalism, flexibility, and a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Experience with HRIS systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills (formulas required; VLOOKUP preferred)

Preferred
Experience working in an IT, MSP, or technical services environment
Familiarity with tech-related roles or job descriptions
Familiarity with HR compliance, benefits administration, and onboarding workflows
Experience supporting employee culture, engagement, or HR event coordination
