Apex Bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to assist in servicing a portfolio of lending relationships. The role involves evaluating business risks, underwriting, and providing credit recommendations, along with analyzing complex commercial financials.

Responsibilities

Structure, underwrite, and close broadly-syndicated, complex commercial loans

Review and negotiate loan documentation in consultation with legal counsel

Manage risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit worthiness, adherence to loan terms, and general business conditions

Manage annual reviews and renewals, portfolio reviews, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, delinquencies, and other reporting

Analyze complex financials

Previous formalized credit training required

Demonstrated success structuring complex credits; researching, judging and presenting information verbally and in writing; and creating documentation to support the credit and minimize risk

Demonstrated leadership experience by providing coaching, skill development, and feedback to team members

Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel

Proven negotiation skills

Strong problem solving, acting with urgency, and written and verbal communication skills are required
