Responsibilities
Lead GDI injector design projects from concept through PPAP and production release
Manage Design Validation (DV) testing and ensure readiness for manufacturing launch
Develop, refine, and correlate spray and flow test methods (Baton, Loccioni, OEM correlation)
Create and release detailed engineering drawings and specifications
Partner with manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and robust product launch
Support application engineering for OEM and aftermarket programs without diverting production resources
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for GDI product issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required
5+ years of experience in fuel injector design, including 2+ years in GDI systems
Deep understanding of injector geometry, spray pattern control, and fuel system integration
