Chief Financial Officer
Confidential is a forward-thinking Colorado law firm emphasizing innovative financial management and strategic growth. They are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business goals, while also collaborating with marketing to drive financial growth through brand development and market expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes while aligning financial strategies with marketing and business development initiatives
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement financial models that support marketing campaigns, product launches, and market growth strategies
Analyze market trends and customer behaviors to inform financial decisions and investment opportunities
Oversee all accounting functions including payroll, AP/AR, tax planning, and auditing, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors, banks, and financial partners
Develop and monitor KPIs related to marketing spend and its ROI, ensuring financial health while supporting business growth
Support marketing in assessing the profitability of services, customer acquisition costs, and pricing models to maximize returns
Guide investment strategies and lead initiatives around mergers and acquisitions in line with marketing and business growth strategies
Lead the finance department, mentoring a team of finance professionals and ensuring effective communication between finance and marketing teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred)
At least 5 years of experience in a CFO or senior financial management role, particularly in the Law or Medical/Healthcare industry
Strong marketing acumen with proven experience in aligning financial strategy with marketing initiatives, understanding customer acquisition, and product profitability analysis
Demonstrated success in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within marketing-driven organizations
Experience with financial tools, ERP systems, and marketing analytics platforms
Solid leadership and communication skills with a collaborative approach to working cross-functionally, especially with marketing and operations
Ability to handle strategic decision-making related to financial investments, business expansion, and market entry
Preferred
Experience with mergers and acquisitions within a marketing-intensive or growth-focused environment
Knowledge of financial principles specific to marketing functions such as digital marketing ROI, customer lifetime value, and marketing budget allocation
Previous experience working in a fast-paced, growth-focused organization
