Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

Formulate and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for Industrial Hygiene Field Services, Environmental Training Services, and Laboratory Services
Identify and target potential clients and partners, including commercial, contractor, education, medical, and public agencies
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to position our services effectively
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their objectives
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
Attend networking events and industry conferences
Generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and networking
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets in collaboration with the SLT
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that client requirements are met and deliverables are on schedule
Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on market needs and service improvements
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive landscape
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Services, or Water Testing sectors
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong understanding of Industrial Hygiene, environmental regulations, and water testing procedures
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIH, CHMM)
Experience working with accredited schools
