CNC Machinist III - B-Shift

Responsibilities
Apply technical expertise to CNC machining processes
Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback
Support manufacturing and supply chain operations across Blue Origin facilities
Qualification
Required
Seven (7) years of related CNC experience
Two (2) years' experience with multi-axis machines
Experience with one or more of the following CNC machines: Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, and/or Okuma
Working knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, or other CNC controls
Excellent blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard
Familiar with the use of personal computers
Ability to provide Design for Manufacturing feedback
Must be physically able to climb ladders, and stairs, work in small/restricted areas, and lift and carry 25 lbs
Preferred
Two (2) years experience with CNC programming OR - 15+ Years Manual/Tool and Die
Tooling and fixture design
Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) experience
Outside processing knowledge including heat treating, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc
CMM programming/operation experience
CNC programming skills, preferably Mastercam X6 thru 2018
Conversational programming on the machine
Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts
