Information Technology Project Manager, 61 CS
The United States Space Force (USSF) is searching for an Information Technology Project Manager to lead the evolution of their NIPR and SIPR networks. This role involves translating strategic objectives into project plans, deploying new technologies, and ensuring the reliability and security of communication networks.

Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed 'Unscheduled Telework'
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year
May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments
PCS is not authorized. Incentive is not authorized
A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is highly preferred
Meeting DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II requirements (e.g., Security+ CE) is mandatory
Preferred
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired
Over seven years of experience managing complex IT projects within a Department of War environment, preferably with the Air Force or Space Force
Proven experience with the lifecycle management of NIPRNet and SIPRNet infrastructure
Strong track record of translating complex requirements from diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership, into actionable project plans
Adept at authoring and enforcing IT policies within a regulated government environment
Familiar with DoD budgeting and contracting processes
