Responsibilities

Lead all business development efforts for the Houston and greater Texas market
Identify, pursue, and close new commercial roofing opportunities across re-roof, service, and restoration projects
Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, asset managers, general contractors, and consultants
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, from initial outreach through contract execution
Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and client satisfaction
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
Provide market intelligence, pricing insights, and competitive analysis to leadership
Help define sales processes, CRM usage, and go-to-market strategy as the Texas team scales

Required

5–7+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with a strong emphasis on business development or sales
Proven ability to generate and close commercial roofing work in a competitive market
Deep understanding of commercial roofing systems, pricing, and project lifecycles
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Preferred

Prior experience launching or growing a new market or territory
Existing book of business or strong industry relationships in the Houston/Texas market
Experience mentoring or leading junior sales professionals
