Responsibilities
Meet with business teams to determine project needs and requirements
Analyze and interpret business requirements to design, develop, and implement software-based solutions
Review, refactor, and maintain existing code to improve performance and maintainability
Propose and implement database schema changes as required
Develop applications using OpenEdge ABL, Telerik .NET controls, and/or C#
Work within established project management processes while identifying opportunities for process improvement
Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner
Stay current with advancements in programming tools, frameworks, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
5–7 years of experience with OpenEdge ABL (OpenEdge 4GL), Telerik .NET controls, or C#
Strong time and project management skills
Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems
Experience using and working with object-oriented programming structures
Knowledge of XML and JSON data formats
Ability to parse and manipulate data stored in various formats
Preferred
Knowledge of web services (REST) preferred
Power BI experience a plus
