Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Specialist will receive, review, and process vendor invoices, matching purchase orders, packing slips, and approvals
Verify accuracy of pricing, quantities, taxes, and account coding
Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and ensure compliance with company policies
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will monitor AP aging and assist with cash flow forecasting
Assist with month-end close: accruals, AP reconciliations, and reporting
Qualification
Required
Experience with check runs, ACH, and credit card transactions
Experience with accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
Understanding of end-to-end AP processes, including invoice review, matching, and payment
Familiarity with maintaining vendor documentation and adhering to company policies
Competence in accounting systems and intermediate Excel skills
Strong ability to interact with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues
Ability to verify accuracy of pricing, quantities, taxes, and coding
Ability to reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Ability to monitor aging reports and assist with cash flow forecasting
Ability to manage high-volume transactions efficiently
