Senior Regional Manager

AGSE is seeking a Senior Regional Manager responsible for serving as the main customer interface and increasing business with existing or new accounts. The role involves managing the sales process, developing customer engagement plans, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

Establishes new and maintains strong existing relationships with customer base in designated business portfolio to profitably grow the business especially with key and foundational customers
Manages the entire sales process (RFP/RFQ through quote and after sales process) including customer management for long term contracts
Creates and implements customer engagement plans ensuring regular customer touch points via both in person and remote meetings
Actively manages the sales pipeline. Perform account review (internal / external)
Responsible to deliver Order Intake, Revenue and customer account growth for assigned portfolio
Assists with development of strategies and executes sales plans for assigned region, or significant accounts in alignment with regional business objectives
Upon assignment this role might manage, train and support other sales managers
Identifies and develops new business opportunities
Collaborates with other departments (marketing, customer support) to ensure a positive customer experience
Prepares and presents sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to support regional director
Develop relevant market intelligence and competitive information to support regional planning
Negotiates medium size sales contracts, and supports finalizing terms and conditions
Identify and mitigate business risk
Ensures internal communication/cooperation is achieved
Travel to customers as needed
Attend industry conferences and tradeshows
Coordinate potential sales opportunities with other AGSE business groups

Solid knowledge of commercial principles; cost, pricing, volume discounts, payment
Solid understanding of business financial analysis
General knowledge of engineering principals; mechanical/electrical/controls
Able to foster team environment (and across functional groups)
Ability to establish credibility with internal and external customers
Must be MS Office literate
Solid oral and written communication skills
Strong multi-task and prioritization skills
Solid ability to negotiate LTA contracts, terms and conditions
Ability to affect change through influence
Excellent independent judgment, decision making and problem solving skills
Bachelors of Science in technical or business discipline or equivalent
3-5 years experience in commercial role within the aerospace or aviation industry or extensive product knowledge with Ground Support Equipment for aerospace/aviation applications and demonstrated ability to effectively participate in customer meetings on behalf of the company
5+ years experience in related industry aerospace or aviation industry

Preferred

AGSE product knowledge desired; experience with ground support equipment (GSE) for aerospace/aviation is highly preferred
Plus other advanced sales/technical training
