Operations Coordinator - NSF STRIVE

Landmark College invites applications for the position of Operations Coordinator for NSF STRIVE, a grant funded program aimed at expanding the science and technology research ecosystem in Vermont. The Operations Coordinator will manage post-award grant activities, support STRIVE operations, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Prepare paperwork for payment, get required signatures, and submit to Accounts payable for payment
Track expenses and prepare drawdown requests
Ensure the project manager or primary investigator remain in compliance with grant agreement and funder requirements
Track reporting and ensure reporting meets funder’s requirements
Provide support for events and conference attendance
Assist with data entry
Assist with project communication plan as assigned. May include website updates, creating flyers, drafting communications, and other tasks
Track seed grant program spending
Manage STRIVE’s electronic files, and Team access
Other duties as assigned by STRIVE Leadership

Required

an understanding of STRIVE's goals and how this position contributes to the project's success
Experience working with or for community-based organizations and/or in higher education
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with electronic communications, social media, and databases
Grant management experience
Strong communications, planning, and organizational skills
Must be computer proficient, able to compose spreadsheets, work with different databases, and be familiar with electronic document assembly
