Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of 5 engineers in their heavy manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing electrical systems design, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives while providing hands-on technical expertise and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 5 electrical engineers
Design and upkeep of existing plant electrical systems
Design electrical distribution and control schemes for new equipment
Create one-line diagrams and schematics for new and existing equipment
Work with suppliers and contractors when purchasing and installing equipment
Assist maintenance in troubleshooting and repair of equipment, including instructing maintenance on proper troubleshooting techniques
Work with purchasing on procurement of new and used electrical equipment

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing facility
Proven experience leading or managing engineering teams
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and software (RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk View ME)
Experience designing and reading one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams for industrial electrical and control systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems (hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus)

Preferred

AutoCAD experience a plus
