Responsibilities
Provides timely, accurate data analysis in the area of decision support, cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, reimbursement, financial statements and project analysis
Designs and implements detailed procedures to assure accuracy of data presented
Coordinates hospital-wide financial analysis, data collection, retrieval and review
Coordinates multiple functions including financial planning, accounting, information technology and clinical operations to organize, analyze and report cost, utilization and other financial and performance-related information
Develops and executes SQL queries against existing data sources; develops, loads, and manipulates data files, and applies database skills to automate processes
Uses relational databases to allow linking and merging of multiple files for management and query analysis
Develops reports for specific business needs as requested
Involves the use of state and other data sources in addition to in-house database
Supports internal as well as external departments
Qualification
Required
