Responsibilities
Review and enhance internal controls across all financial data points, including revenue, billing, expenses, cash, equipment and other assets, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory
In collaboration with the Junior Controller, prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Supervise and develop the Accounts Payable team
Prepare the majority of the Daily Reporting for CFO review
Work with analysts and the CFO to establish additional financial and operational metrics
Serve as the lead liaison and organizer for various periodic financial audits i.e. Insurance, 401K, CPA firm
Assist in preparing proformas for all new sales business opportunities
Support the finance team and CFO in any additional projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
Proven experience in a financial management or controller role for at least 8 years
Proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting analysis
Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret financial data for decision-making
Thorough knowledge of Finance principles, including budgeting and forecasting
Advanced expertise in Accounting practices, reconciliations, and compliance
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
