Outside Sales Associate - Local to Chicago
Tethered Talent is a growing medical technology organization seeking a motivated Outside Sales Associate in Chicago. The role focuses on driving new business, expanding accounts, and supporting healthcare professionals with innovative medical solutions while collaborating with the Regional Sales Director.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a territory sales plan to achieve targets
Build strong relationships with Critical Care Units, Infection Prevention, Materials Management, and other hospital decision-makers
Conduct in-person meetings, product demos, and presentations
Attend and support live surgical procedures for product trials, demos, and implementations
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to grow market share
Provide product education and ongoing clinical support
Track sales metrics and update activity in CRM
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of Acute Care (hospital) experience (clinical, sales, or service background)
Demonstrate strong clinical acumen and the ability to translate complex data and procedural insights into effective sales strategies
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred (Associate degree accepted)
