Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, designing, developing, monitoring, and supporting new and existing software and web applications in a 24x7x365 global environment
Works on projects under aggressive timelines with a requirement for very high quality
Designs, develops automated test scripts for new software and web services. Provides support for applications under development and enhances current applications
Assists in the roll-out and monitoring of software releases
Provides quality assurance guidance throughout the design, development and testing process and direction with regards to practices, procedures and techniques
Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Quality Engineers
Evaluates and plans software development activities, performs code and test script reviews, and provides test plans, test results and documentation
Qualification
Required
Test automation, Python, Java REST Assured, SOAP UI
Agile and Jira experience required
Skills are SQL, AppDynamics, Kibana, and Concourse
Financial, payment and/or billing system background is a must
This environment has applications in Java, GO Lang, JQ, React, Oracle, Couchbase, and Cloud Technologies (AWS and/or Cloud Foundry)
Years of Experience: 6 plus years of related experience
Must be a strong team player, an excellent communicator, and possess and display a positive attitude
Must be able to learn quickly through self-guided learning
