Event Planner

Akkodis is seeking an Event Planner for a contract position with a client. The role involves supporting the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events for a large global law firm, working closely with a Senior Event Planner to manage event logistics.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end event planning including venue coordination, vendor management, catering, AV/equipment, room setup, and décor
Assist with guest lists, presentation materials, transportation, and event logistics
Provide on-site event support, day-of coordination, and event breakdown
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors
Manage virtual and hybrid events/webinars, including tech rehearsals and post-event follow-up
Ensure a high level of service and professionalism throughout all event phases

Required

2+ years of experience in event coordination or event planning
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
Comfortable working onsite in a client-facing environment
