Recru is seeking an experienced Epic Builder to lead the build, configuration, and expansion of Epic Care Companion. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the implementation aligns with Epic standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the build and configuration of Epic Care Companion during the migration from CareSense to Epic
Expand existing Care Companion content, ensuring scalability, consistency, and long‑term maintainability
Collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into optimized, workflow‑aligned Epic build
Ensure alignment with Epic standards and best practices across MyChart, Ambulatory, Inpatient, and Orders
Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting for new pathways, features, and ongoing enhancements
Develop and maintain documentation, including build specifications, workflow guides, and knowledge‑transfer materials
Support go‑live readiness and stabilization, including issue triage and iterative improvements

Qualification

EPIC certificationEpic builder experienceHands-on configurationPatient-engagement toolsIndependent operationAttention to detailOrganizational skills

Required

Epic certification in at least one of the following: MyChart, Ambulatory, Inpatient, and/or Orders
Proven experience as a strong Epic builder, with hands‑on configuration experience in Care Companion or related patient‑engagement tools
Direct experience with Epic build, not limited to optimization or support work
Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage complex, large‑scale build efforts
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort working with high volumes of pathways and configurations
