Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the annual financial planning process and reforecasting process. This includes the reforecasts of P&Ls, headcount, and strategic initiatives

Provides an assessment of the financial health of the company by analyzing historical data, identifying trends, and projecting future financial performance

Reviews monthly financial results to identify variances versus budget and partners cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of accurate results. Ability to identify trends and implement actions to improve future results

Driving ongoing process improvements to increase overall quality and efficiency of analysis which includes proactive modeling and analysis tools

Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities

Participate, as needed, in strategic planning sessions and help analyze relevant strategic initiatives. Regularly measure performance against strategic plan goals

Coordinates, prioritizes, and reviews program budgets and grant opportunities to ensure profitability of programs/services or business opportunities being considered

Lead, coach, and mentor financial analysts

Required

BA/BS Business Administration, Economics, Finance, and/or other related fields

6+ years' experience in financial analysis and business planning

Experience leading or supervising a team

Experience with financial statement analysis, a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
