Hy-Vee, Inc. is a company that prides itself on its commitment to customer service and employee engagement. They are seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to perform administrative duties for the Internal Audit department, assist auditors with preparations, and conduct inventory audit procedures.

Responsibilities

Completes and reports on issues regarding inventory audits

Compiles materials for store audits. Prepares and sends out store audit confirmation letters when necessary. Send audit reports to store directors

Identifies sample and completes various procedures for Accounts payable, Repair, Benefit Plan, AR Card, EFT Returns, 401K, ICR, Cash Receipts, and Tax Savings plan test of transactions

Answers telephone and sorts incoming mail

Sends request for follow-up information and responses

Reports to work when scheduled and on time

Postal Commission audit

Coordinate pool car reservation schedule

Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

1-3 years related previous work experience

Ability to identify problems, develop and execute solutions

Ability to interact with basic computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet and email applications, as well as job specific programs

Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction

Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
