Ascendo Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Operations Associate to join their Operations team. This role involves supporting daily cash movement functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of funds, and requires prior experience in a broker-dealer environment along with knowledge of FINRA/SEC regulations.

Responsibilities

Process and reconcile daily cash transactions including incoming/outgoing wires, ACH transfers, and check deposits

Monitor and manage firm and client funding requests, ensuring all movements are properly documented and compliant

Collaborate with internal teams such as compliance, operations, and client service to resolve discrepancies or funding issues

Maintain accurate records of all cashiering activities in accordance with regulatory and internal audit requirements

Assist with daily and monthly reconciliations of client accounts and firm bank accounts

Support onboarding of new clients from a funding and cash management perspective

Ensure all cashiering processes follow anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols
